General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for ECDU online courses:

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) regulate the legal relationships between ECDU.EU (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) and the participants in the online course (hereinafter referred to as “Participants”). By ordering the online course, the participant expressly accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Scope of services
The provider provides the participant with the booked online course including all course content. The online course includes video content, text materials, exercises and, if necessary, other learning materials.

3. Conclusion of contract
By ordering the online course, the participant makes a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded as soon as the provider confirms the participant's order.

4. Right of withdrawal
Since the online course is made available immediately after ordering and the participant receives immediate access to the course content, the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with Section 356 Paragraph 5 of the German Civil Code (BGB) expires. 5. Copyright and Use
The course content, including texts, images, videos and other materials, are protected by copyright and are the property of ECDU.EU. Any reproduction, distribution, public access or other use of the course content requires the express written permission of ECDU.EU.

6. Liability
The provider is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from improper use of the course content or technical problems. The use of the course content is at the participant's own risk.

7. Liability and responsibility in dealing with security content

In parts of the online courses, the provider covers critical security topics, such as the use of KALI Linux and associated so-called “hacking tools”.

This content serves the sole purpose of raising awareness and training regarding IT security. The provider expressly emphasizes that the information and tools provided are in no way intended to encourage illegal or unethical use.

The participant accepts that the security content covered in the course is for educational and informational purposes only and may not be used to carry out attacks, illegal activities or other unethical acts. The use of this information and tools is solely the responsibility of the participant.

The provider assumes no liability for damages or legal consequences resulting from improper or irresponsible use of the security content covered in the course. The participant is encouraged to use the knowledge acquired responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The teaching of security content in this course is intended to promote awareness of the importance of IT security and to help strengthen participants' skills in this area. The provider expressly encourages you to use the acquired knowledge ethically and responsibly in order to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems.

8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The provider reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the participant in good time. They are deemed to have been accepted if the participant does not object in writing within 14 days of notification.

9. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are or become ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes in connection with this contract is the registered office of the provider.

By ordering the online course, the participant accepts these general terms and conditions as well as ECDU.EU's cancellation policy.
